Zions Bank Financial Center
> Designed to Earn the Energy Star, 2008 ENERGY STAR Challenge
The Zions Bank Financial Center opened for business in March of 2010. This is a Mixed-Use Development consisting of a nine story high-rise with approximately 140,000 sf of Office, Bank Branch and Retail Space as well as a four story above grade parking structure and one story below grade parking structure. This project’s sustainable design reduces energy dependency and CO2 emissions through implementation of 2008 Energy Star requirements.
The project massing is designed as a collection of mid-rise buildings that address the pedestrian scale with street front retail, while the high-rise office tower steps back from the street and ties the building together at its core. Mid-rise building roof decks become an expansion of the interior office space, creating accessible roof terraces for the building occupants. The Rock Canyon Room conference facility occupies the eastern side of the penthouse level capturing expansive views of Mount Timpanogos and the Wasatch Range.
